Nigerian Women in Public Relations

We started a movement, a community of like minded professional women: #NGWomeninPR

According to the 2018 PRCA Census, women make up 66% of the PR and Communications industry. But at top management and board levels, the men control the room.

NG Women in PR is a community founded to challenge the status quo. If women do the grunt work, then they deserve a seat at the table too.

But we recognise that there are hindrances to achieving this lofty aim: family responsibilities, lack of mentorship and sponsors, inadequate knowledge, lack of exposure, and lack of opportunities, amongst others.

At Nigerian Women in PR, our mission is to build a robust network of competent and qualified Nigerian Women in PR, and improve access to opportunities.

We will do this through:

  • Supporting Nigerian Women in PR’s career aspiration through relevant content, events, and capacity building workshops
  • Inspiring Nigerian Women in PR to aim for leadership positions through relevant speakers, events and content
  • Empowering Nigerian Women in PR to lead global teams through mentoring, training and content

Please follow our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn).
